Terms & Conditions
These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the web application and the iOS app “Wantivo” (together: the “Service”). By using the Service, you accept these terms.

1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions apply to all users of the Service as well as to all content and features provided as part of Wantivo. Deviating terms of users do not apply unless expressly agreed in writing.
2. Roles and features
Wantivo enables the creation and sharing of wishlists. Depending on the features, the following roles may exist:
- Creator / owner creates a wishlist and can manage access.
- Participant has access to a shared wishlist (e.g., via invitation/link/token) and can – depending on permissions – view content or contribute.
3. User content (wishlists, names, wishes)
Users can create and upload content (“User Content”), in particular:
- Names/designations (e.g., display name, wishlist title)
- Wishes/entries (text, links, notes)
- optional: profile picture or similar representations
4. Prohibited content
It is prohibited to create, store, or share User Content that:
- violate applicable law or infringe third-party rights (e.g., copyright, trademark, personality rights)
- are insulting, discriminatory, pornographic, extremist, glorify violence, or otherwise unlawful
- contain malware or circumvent security mechanisms (e.g., malware, phishing, exploits)
- constitute spam (e.g., mass invitations, unsolicited advertising, misleading content)
- contain third-party confidential data without permission (e.g., private contact details)
5. User responsibility
Users are responsible for:
- the accuracy and legality of their User Content
- careful handling of invitations/links/tokens (do not post publicly if access is intended only for specific people)
- compliance with these Terms & Conditions and applicable law
- protecting their access credentials (e.g., not sharing passwords)
6. Measures in case of violations
In the event of violations of these Terms & Conditions, we may take the following measures, depending on severity and frequency:
- removal or blocking of User Content
- temporary restriction of individual features (e.g., sharing/inviting)
- temporary suspension or permanent deactivation of an account
- technical measures to prevent abuse (e.g., rate limits)
7. Changes to the Terms & Conditions
We may update these Terms & Conditions if necessary (e.g., due to new features, legal requirements, or security adjustments). The current version is available in the Service at any time. In the event of material changes, we will inform you in a reasonable manner (e.g., a notice on the web).
